A postman is a familiar figure in towns and villages. He wears khakhi uniform and hangs a leather bag containing letters, parcels and money orders saws his shoulder. He begins his work at the post office in the morning. He opens mailbags, sorts the letters, parcels etc. and seals them with date stamp. He then goes out to deliver letters, parcels and money orders. He has to do his duties in a fair or foul weather. A postman is a lowpaid government servant. But he does a very important and responsible work. So, his service is very useful to the society.
